Latest addition Savage Mark II with a bull barrel. Love the barrel, you can shoot it all day long and it barely gets warm. Well, it takes a lot to get it to where you think it needs to cool off.

If you have a better image viewer you will get a better idea of the barrel. It's a cheap Savage plastic stock, accu trigger, and a Vortex scope. Great rig for targets and plinking.





This is not mine, but it is an interesting piece. It's used in intrenational rifle competitions. They only hit the center of the target. I've only seen them practise on the 50 yard range.

POS, You can get most any popular round now in the AR Platform. 7.62 by 39 in an AR is a nice way to go if you prefer that round. The 5.56 shoots much flatter so I dont dispute what the Government uses for our troops. Light rifle light ammo , you can carry 300 rounds no problem. Good to 200 yards and our fighting boys get it done out to 400 meters in the sand box. We have been fighting the AK for quite a few years and except for the first couple(Nam) we have been on top of every fight. My rifle is a very precision machine. It is hands down the most reliable rifle I own. Both my AR and my Tikka 30-06 never fail to function or fire.
