ban automatic assault rifles - no one needs these to hunt or defend their person
ban large drums and magazines - no one needs these to hunt or defend their person
stop locking up recreational drug users and low level dealers
strengthen prosecution for violent crimes (assault, murder, etc) - by this i mean draconian sentences as deterrents
increase access to health care for everyone, beginning at childhood - we need to weed these people out sooner
increase resources available for minimum security prisons and mental health facilities to take on the psychos and nut jobs out there (the ones who are responsible for most of these mass murders)
