What on earth are you talking about? Seriously, I have no idea. We have "faith in other people to fix our lives?" How does that even apply to this conversation? Are you high?

The only thing I have faith in is that the US military can take complete control of the country simply by seizing important infrastructure and highways (like, say, petrochemical refineries and ports in New Orleans). This isn't some absurd fantasy of yours, in which the big bad government gets booted out by local government in times of crisis. It is so utterly delusional to think that the largest and most powerful military in human history is going to get thwarted by diseased or irradiated rebels with AR-15s, especially when the police force is militarized and every state had a National Guard.

So, yeah, let's talk about this when you aren't on a cocktail of narcotics.

Most of those people would become redundant. A massive, nation-wide catastrophe would collapse the economy. Grain would be stockpiled, not sold.

In other words, the Port would be run by soldiers, as would the refineries, to the benefit of those who conceded to their power and the military itself.

It's as if you think the US military is unable to come up with 20,000 people to control and work those facilities, if they needed to.
