So you recognise that the system allows, and even facilitates, the theft of billions and billions, but you're rigid about this guy having to pay a $1k fine for saving a life.
The law to keep and bear arms exists. It is an inalienable Right. the law is wrong, whether or not they enforce this law, which is in direct violation of the oath to defend the Constitution.
You've allowed your sense of justice to refect the part of the system that supports stealing those billions. One set of laws for the thieves and another for a non elite saving a life.
Michael Bloomberg agrees with you.
