So when did somali pirates defend freed slaves? When were they anything other than pirates?

Or is that more of the vaunted south Park education shining through?

I don't think there's much doubt that there was a lot of effort to keep guns out of black hands. I think there still is.

Not just in the south, either.

There was significant effort and success in Indiana. Other places in the north as well.

Perhaps they're mixing up their centuries, with possible NRA assistance during the Civil Rights movement in the 1960's rather than the 1870's.

The Black Panthers were the movers and shakers on black gun rights at that time. They invaded the California legislature with loaded guns to make their point. I don't know about the NRA at that time. Could be.

I would still like to know about what that group of black conservatives are talking about.
