You can buy and sell in Canada with the proper license with nothing but internet contact and calling the firearms office for verification of the buyer and sellers license I have bought and sold guns in Canada with only internet contact and that phone call. I have shipped in barrels from the US and had them delivered to the door. Pistols require more paperwork and cross border gets quarantined.
Otherwise, it's fairly restrictive. Far far more than the US.

I suspect you are right.
Too much uproar otherwise. I hope anyway.
Can't buy receivers here online either. Most parts are ok. Triggersets are ok, I think.

Ive ordered a drum for my shotgun and its on the way. Strangely enough I need an import permit to buy a magazine and get it sent here but not a drum- even though a drum mag holds more ammo. Weird.
