Buying ammo is not criminal behaviour.

This does absolutely nothing, what so ever, that will stop criminals from buying or getting ammo.

They're waving a magical amulet at the law abiding in hopes it will thwart criminal behaviour.

It's like sacrificng virgins to make sure your castle is blessed.

They're nothing but morons.

If a bullet cost $50 you bet there will be no innocent bystanders. If he's shot he probably deserved it.

This is definitely an infringement.

This makes it onerous or impossible for the poor to afford ammo.

If bullets cost $50 for mere permission, it will proliferate the reloading black market. Just like cigarettes have proliferated in Canada in the 'grey' market. They sell cigarettes at about half price or less on Indian reserves. Their business is booming.

The poor are exactly who they don't want having ammo. There is a reason why there is no ammo available and it doesn't have a thing to do with imposing socialism. Socialism is the last thing the state or private industry wants. That would mean sharing their cash with the people they stole it from.

They do target the poor the most. Pretty well always, in fact.

Imposing control is what it's about.

They don't care if you starve to death, or have a roof over your head or clothes to wear. As long as you can't afford ammo, they feel more safe.

Of course it's a stupid idea, but stupidity has never impaired what the state does. It often seems to drive what the state does.

Set up an ammo kiosk on the Nevadan or Arizonian border. You'd make shit load of money.

Just anothe angle to collect more $$$$$.
