Eventually NAND is going to be built into the boards as well. I really like these SSD's that plug directly into the PCI bus, crazy data rates, but that stuff is still idiotic expensive.
I've been putting off building a new computer till flash prices fall just a little more. I'd love to have at least a half TB SSD system drive. My laptop has an SSD, and now I'm a believer.
