hey comrade, i like starcraft. or actually, i more like watching people play starcraft as i'm not as good as them.
as comrade said, Europa Univeralis 4 and Crusader Kings 2 (I have over 1000 hrs played between them if that means anything to you), and if you want a builder then of course Minecraft and evcen more fun and creative is Space Engineers
Portal 2 is so so much fun (and way better than the first). I try to play it once a year, hoping beyond hope i'd forget most of the puzzles. But do you want a more fun puzzle game? DO you? the most fun you've had in a years since you were a wee lad? Get Fez. You'll come into this room and this music plays called Sync and holy shit i've never played a game that had such a perfect song. i listen to this soundtrack a lot though. like i was right now before i opened this thread. i played that game with a N64 controller plugged into my computer
f you want a pretty fun shooter but would like a challenger where you end up completing the entire game without killing anyone, try Dishonored
if you want a single player waste forever amounts of time on giant open beautiful world of course one must play Skyrim
if you want a f**k puzzler, try Anti-Chamber
you want fun little puzzles that will take a few hours, try Limbo and Thomas Was Alone
you want a zen city builder? try Banished
want a more crazy one? try Anno 2070
want the best one? try Factorio. okay that's not a city builder. but it kinda is? and it's better?
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE
if you hold off ordering until tommorrow
that's right, you can get everything and more for 20% of the price if you just hold your f**k horses
well, Starcraft, Minecraft, and Factorio aren't on steam, you'll have to look elsewhere
