I don't think we'll ever jump into a time machine and visit the dinosaurs, but time travel on a quantum level may be possible. Quantum physics is just weird enough for that to be plausible.

We don't. 
We exist only in the present. We refer to it for the psychological reasons detailed above.
The question is about time travel. Since we exist only in the present...going anywhere other than present isn't existing.
