Who is going to know what info the govt collects, legal or otherwise?

ok w/e idk what you're even trying to argue about anymore. I like that Apple's core business relies on selling hardware and they work to protect privacy and customer data, not sell it.
You were being obtuse, but even in doing so you were wrong since Google does Sell phones, and the whole "load" references are unnecessary.

It's not inconsistent because in reality Apple doesn't give a shit about privacy and you are confusing a marketing message with something meant to be taken seriously. I can only hope nobody else is doing that.
