Synthetic 3D benchmarks are a bit weasly though. There are a lot of variables to consider, like the API, the version of the API, whether the codepaths have been optimized for NVIDIA or AMD, etc etc etc.

I don't know all the tech stuff but I hate the fact that Windows 8 comes with this stupid interface where you click a bunch of cheesy looking boxes to get to the desktop. As someone maybe ueber put it, not all computers are tablets!

The claim that Metro adds unnecessary steps is 100% bullshit, and interestingly, nobody has been able to say what those steps are, or what specific functionality has been lost.

This is not difficult. You just don't like change and refuse to be rational about it. Which is your right as a consumer, but don't try to pass your opinion off as some sort of qualified, professional opinion. My Grandpa adapted to Metro. He's 82. Get over it.
