Really? It is so simple, any time you are happy with the way a company does business you are free to opt not to do business with them. There are other alternatives so they are unlikely to be classified as a monopoly utility.
Cable companies are being eaten alive in the television market by streaming services. If they can't recover these losses from the content providers, they are going to review them from you, the subscriber.
