in order to prevent a retail establishment from buying Wardenclyffe, where tesla's laboratory was (and has recently been put up for sale) money had to be raised.

it's already raised more than it needs to buy Wardenclyffe, but beyond that, funding the museum is a worthy cause

Would much prefer a museum about an inventor, invention, science and so on than another drab retail establishment. George Carlin was for the most part correct when he identified the U.S. as just one large, ugly commercial shopping mall.
