Caught this on reddit this evening. It seems like they are solving a lot of problems by going this route and I'm interested in seeing how things work in the end. Hopefully there's some sort of "demo" video out there that shows how everything works (minus the secret stuff).

Everything important is powered by Linux, openBSD or a derivative of either.

Or, they could run an Apple OS.

i don't know anything about linux, but i do know this ship is completely badass and once again proves the navy and the airforce are the only branches that deserve funding since the army can't seem to stop jacking off over equipment that was obsolete 20-30 years ago.
