So have any of you guys been eyeballing some of the new Windows 8 hardware?

We still have surface from microsoft.


Sony Vaio Duo 11


Samsung Ativ Tablets


HP Envy x2 (plus others)


Dell


And there is plenty more from Lenevo, Asus and Acer, but did anything they show off excite you at all? Honestly, I'm torn between the HP Envy x2 and Microsoft Surface. There is also rumor that Nokia might show off a tablet too at their event on wednesday.

i want a tablet not a laptop that breaks in half when i sneeze.

Have you not seen windows 8 at all?

Why bother, everything since Xp has been shit. I have 7 or something on this, the only advantage I can see to it is the ability to have more than 2gig's memory. Beyond that the 'improvements' boil down to shineyness.

Windows 8 is different how? Is it significantly faster? Less crash prone?
