I think the government is worried because fraud happens regularly, not due to being jealous that Bill from Arkansas donated $10 towards Star Citizen.

The reason we can't have a conversation is because you're unwilling to even entertain ideas that don't parrot Republican talking points. This thread being a prime example. You weren't even aware that people are getting defrauded by the thousands, but have already dismissed government intervention on the ludicrous grounds that they are... jealous?

It's absurd. I personally am in favor of the Wild West outlook on internet activity, but I can't possibly bring myself to support the sort of partisan hackery that informs your OP.
