So I've been using Chrome and then Edge and wanted something a little bit snappier and overall more secure. Enter....Brave.

It blocks ads/pop ups, runs better (I'm seeing less CPU/Memory utilization), has a private browser with Tor capabilities, and is one of the only browsers to block fingerprinting as well. If you pair this browser with a VPN I think that's a pretty safe browsing experience on the web. Overall I'm pretty impressed - it's definitely improved over time.

What do all of you use?

we have dependencies on activeX controls. yes, the f**k thing is going out of support in uh, 3 months. and we had plans to fix this, but between upgrading to java 11 from 6, log4j, and the f**k invasion of ukraine i have had no time to devote to this

but normally just use chrome. i'll give brave a try

Firefox privacy mode + ublock origin plugin. I have a VPN depending on what I am doing but I do most of my purchases while on Linux anyways so the chances of having some kind of trojan/malware is virtually zero.

God yes. My skin tingles just thinking about it.
