yeah...we probably want the state keeping tabs on this kid. a judicial finding of "not responsible" would make that harder.

This kid is almost assuredly future trouble. I'm all for trying to help kids like this and trying to give them a chance at life but really don't know if it's possible... IMO he's damaged goods and probably beyond help even at his age. My crystal ball tells me he will be in trouble with the law when he's of age, probably something violent, maybe even killing someone and he will eventually be incarcerated. Of course not before he reproduces and continues the cycle.

definitely needs a punishment. it sounds like he needs boundaries, so a punishment would do him good. he needs to learn the difference between right and wrong. and all children should be given a chance...if he is beyond help than i am all for locking him up before he does more damage.

How do we know that the kid was abused?
Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.
If guns are not outlawed, the in-laws will have guns.
