Why Arabs are so Easily Offended

In the muslim world there is a lot of false perception being thrown about, with a little mix of reality. We should always seek to minimize the reality, but we can't do a whole lot about the false perception.

I would say people in the west are far more likely to have a false perception of world events.

What offends me is they, or any other group feels it should have special immunity from being offended. I just try to offend everyone equally. Well, the ones that need it anyway. But either way, its no excuse to act like a bunch of heathen savages from ANY offended group.

I blame the abolition of alcohol consumption. I could see a group of Arabs meeting at the local pub in Cairo to plan there attack on the US Embassy having a few cocktails then getting all happy-drunk and deciding to skip the murderous riot and settle down for a few more pints to watch some cricket match or other. I always thought an air-drop of airplane bottles of Jack Daniels and Hustler magazines over the Afghans before we moved in the tanks would pacify the baddies. At least until the booze and jacking off ended.

Basically we have a bunch of testosterone that needs jobs and brides or at least some easy to get poontang. But alas, the good girl risks death at the hands of her Dad if she lifts her skirt before marriage. Ultra conservatism + no booze + no kitty = some uptight males.

Blame the imams and Friday at the mosques as well. Islam is the only place to find prayer on your knees and the admonition to take to the streets to avenge some cartoon with violence.

Come on with your reformation already Muslims! Muhammad was a military man where he and his co-authors plagiarized much of the Jewish and Christian Bible to produce a book that has no place in modernity. To be taken literally??? now a days??? I mean, leave in all the love thy neighbor crap but take out the infidel and forced conversion or death crapola as well.

They (some) just take themselves way to seriously. Well that and they live in a sand box and can never have bacon with their eggs. The no bacon part kinda pisses me off just talking about it.
