My point was that teachers always complain that kids don't wanna learn and parents aren't supportive enough etc, but you can look to any complicated problem and blame everyone except the people whose job it is to get the desires results. That's what teachers do. I used the comparison of politicians because no one has sympathy for their failures yet they can easily use the same logic to say the people they fail are to blame, like teachers do. I think teachers should be paid much more and be given a little more leeway in how they approach education and in exchange they should be held responsible for their results.

The Earth doesn't revolve around the Sun. The planets revolve around the solar barycenter or center of mass, which is currently outside the star's inertial mass. I'm willing to bet quite a few people are not informed on the subject, but we physicists might also be classified as part of that "25%." It seems like ~10% of the population is just batshit insane.
