Human society (even human society pre-civilization) have had hierarchies of power and unequal distributions of power. The amount of power the civilization has and how unequal it is distributed has varied between civilizations and over time. What civilization has done is allowed us to drastically increase the amount of power a society has and increased the amount of power per person however it has also created a widening amount of inequality of who has that power. I think power should more equitably be distributed within civilizations. It is a travesty that even today many people are worse off than how they would have been as hunter gatherers.

Without civilization how would we advance to the level where you can go online and post "why civilization?"

More importantly, without civilisation you would not be able to play the civilisation series of games.
