I used to do three twelves at my first pizza joint. Great schedule.

4 day work weeks would be sublime.

When I was first promoted to director, my primary office was about 75 minutes from my home, the company allowed me to have a four day work week. I loved it. But a couple more promotions and that crap went out the window.

It's perfectly possible for workers to have a 32hr work week or less, but employers will never allow it. When mechanisation first appeared, it was expected that it would lead to a shorter working week; but what happened is that employers just demanded greater productivity.

FWIW, all employees where I work start with 28 days paid vacation leave per annum plus bank holidays.

I probably need 40 to 50 hours a week to be affective at my job (outside of a major trial), but could totally get that done in 4 days.

40 hour work weeks are relics of the past generation.
