The Austrian philosophy comes from a bunch of frustrated mercantilists trapped in a dying empire that had no colonies and whose bourgeois was desperate to get into some of that sweet action. It's nothing more than a blatantly erroneous rationalization for exploitation.

Also, we possess computers with enough computational power to model weather patterns etc. They certainly have the capacity to handle any of our economic planning needs.
