On the real, Uebermann signed on to help out with coding and some other maintenance at PP. He wasn't tasked to be the mod there and never asked to be, but when Quell and all the mods disappeared, he dealt with all the bitching and moaning and complaints nonetheless. He also took the backlash for trying to take any action that may have kept the place from going off the rails.
So it's pretty damn impressive that after all that he would even want anything to do with us anymore, let alone go to the trouble of putting together a whole new site. I know many have expressed our gratitude individually but a tribute thread is deserved.
