I've had one for a while. Some of the games are really fun, some aren't. Avoid the VR minigolf. Its garbage.
I run it on my laptop which has a 1070 in it and it has no problems running all the games.
As much fun as I've had, I find that I just don't use it very often. At least not as often as I thought I would. I probably would use it a bit more often if I get the wireless battery kit for it as the wire gets in the way a lot and is a bit of a hassle. A lot of the games are in perpetual alpha/beta and rarely have updates. Not that they don't work well but I really dislike paying for games in the development process.
I thought it would be a hit at parties, but with only a very few exceptions, all the games are limited to just the person playing. And since I can't get the damn thing to output sound to the headphones AND the TV at the same time, you just end up watching a person in silence on the TV so it gets boring for people unless they are playing.
Maybe I'll get a better graphics card soon and try it in my new tower and see if I use it more then as opposed to with the laptop.
I'm not sure about the 1050 TI is going to be strong enough. If it says VR ready then it should be ok I would think. The graphics don't seem too intensive on the games for the most part but with it being 360 degrees, it probably adds some stress.
