I've had North Face's Recon for about 8 years. Used it daily for 7 years and 2-3 times a month now and it's still in perfect condition.

Man, this is weird.
I have a backpack that is the roughest, toughest backpack I have ever seen. I have had it for years and it is still in near mint condition.
I thought I would recommend it to you, so I looked at it to find a label to tell you the name.
There isn't a single label of any kind on this thing. Not even on the zipper tabs. Nothing. This is the most anonymous backpack ever.
Weird. Nothing. Inside or out, top or bottom.

duluth pack makes nice ones
all made in duluth, canvas and leather construction. sure they mainly make portaging packs but they've branched out
