I don't cut up onions anymore. Because usually, when I need an onion, I also need a bell pepper, some celery, a bit of garlic and some carrot. And, I usually don't have time to dice all that by hand. Everything goes into my Ninja, and out comes perfectly diced mirpoix/trinity. Somehow, the Ninja gets everything to a fairly uniform size, whereas my old food processer would liquify half of it, and leave the other half chunky.
