I see no reason to boycott the company in the OP. After all, a "company" doesn't make decisions or take actions. Companies don't make things. People do. If the people who made the bad things are no longer there, and the new people are not making bad things, why should I not partake?
Just curious, what makes Costco a good company? Seriously, I'm interested.
We have a Sams and a Costco here in New Orleans. The general patron of Sams is a much nicer person, in my experience. They get out of your way if they see you coming. They say excuse me if they need to get by you. Basic stuff like that. But, go to Costco, and they expect you to move out of their way (even if you are on the right side of the aisle, or are obviously looking at something).
Basically, I go to Sams, not because I like Sams better, but because I like the patrons better. But, if Costco were better for the community/society somehow, then I'd consider going there.
So, why are they better?
