Friend of mine only drinks Glenfiddich 30. Swears by it. Personally, I think it's the perfect thing to start a campfire, or prime a carb. Other than that...
I'm a light rum guy. Been through a dozen or more light rums. So far, Old New Orleans Crystal is the best. Smooooooooooooooooth, with a hint of vanilla and smoke flavor.
If you let me make you a mojito with this rum, plus the mint and limes from my backyard, and some simple syrup made from locally-grown sugar cane (just boil the cane in water), you'll never want to drink another drink again. During the summer, I make this gallons at a time. One gallon of "unleaded" for drinks on the go, and one of "104 octane" with extra kick for when I get home.

No cocktail that is made by the gallon can possibly match up Professor. And mojitos are for girls.

my favorite cocktail is about four shots of vodka in a glass with ice. stir till desired temperature, consume.
