Hoping it'll be good. Expecting it to be mediocre. Going to see it on the IMAX screen around the corner so hopefully that will make it somewhat better. So long as it isn't as bad as Justice League.

I bought tickets online for the sneak preview showing a few weeks back. They were getting pretty limited back then so I’m sure few if any are available right now.

Reserving tickets isn't even an option for me, not that our theater has ever sold out.

to buy a ticket to the theater? not new. to buy a ticket to a particular seat in the theater? like, within last 5 years it's become a thing that has been popular.

some people are really mad about it, because they are not used to it. "i want to make the decision to go to the theater at the last minute and not have any forethought whatsoever for it and still get a good seat!". like seriously some people get really mad https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/re ... 401ab61b8f but it's super awesome. i just present the same card i used to pay for it and it is printed at the box office from a kiosk. it's super great
the article mentions it but you can still find theaters that just play 3 movies. drive ins, they still exist, and you go and you pay to watch all of them. thats how theaters were, you just sat down and watched the movie from whenever until it ended, then maybe another... and then back to the first. then assinged times. now reserved seats. just took a bit but now were here and its super great
