Oh no. It has nothing to do with where you work. I can presume you are a corporate whore because there is an excellent chance you spend thousands of dollars on clothes. You go to Starbucks as a matter of routine. You like shopping and feel as if your material possessions speak to who you are. You are probably wearing four hundred dollar loafers as we speak - and when you look in the mirror, you think, man, I look sharp. Powerful. Authoritative. I know this without even knowing it, if you get what I mean. Now... I have friends like this, and I can overlook it because they are intelligent. As are you, in my experience.
Prof is not intelligent. He is a worthless asskisser just competent enough to rise up the corporate ladder. He has almost no moral principles whatsoever other than perhaps "do what is necessary for me and those I care about," which is admirable in a sense and sickening in another. I have no doubt whatsoever that the thing he values most in this world is his family and money. Which is utterly boring and generic, and no more worthy of listening to than some asshole working on a production line. He thinks he knows business but he doesn't have what it takes to rise to the top. He thinks he knows rich people, but they regularly laugh at his attempt to stick his average head out of the average hole. He embraces amorality as a means of coping with the mind-numbing banality of his life. He races fancy cars because he thinks it makes him exotic and daring - and there is no doubt in my mind that he is very precise, accurate and utterly without passion. The word drone comes to mind because he is too reliant upon this system for his self worth but too stupid and average to really dominate.
Way out of line Ex.
