The problem with New Yorkers is that they think that living in New York is some accomplishment by itself.
New York is for 2 types of people:
young rich kids who want to party
Anyone on the grind and trying to make money or something of themselves
Just by living in New York dosen't make you one of these.

Living in NYC is an accomplishment, as far as I'm concerned. I couldn't stand it myself, as I prefer rural living, so anyone who can survive there impresses me with their fortitude.
