Yes they will continue to suck. Also shout out to all the morons on Philadelphia sports talk radio who said the Eagles made a big mistake not drafting Manziel cause Chip Kelly "needs a guy like him". I love our fans passion but a lot of them are supremely stupid.

Yeah hopefully a multi-billion $ NFL organization like the Eagles are smarter than the mouth breather caller whose whole life is to wait on the phone for 5 hours waiting to talk to a sports talk host on the radio who is probably dumber than the caller..

Some of the callers I hear on WFAN are beyond dumb... They absolutely have no life..

Speaking of dumb people talking about sports...Did anyone see this Buzz Bissinger column about Nick Foles?

Instead, what has emerged is a one-dimensional choirboy caricature reflective of a player and a team and a league terrified of individuality. Foles is selling himself, and being sold by the born-again Eagles, as the anti-DeSean: contrite, non-charismatic, cautious, churchgoing, Caucasian. The perfect poster boy for Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and commissioner Roger Goodell’s vision of a new NFL theme park where players have no discernible personality and the Twitter account is laced with Glories to God...


The article basically says that Nick Foles isn't the real deal cause he's soft spoken and humble, which means he's weak and lacks the intensity of a champion. In his closing paragraph he literally calls Foles a "chickenshit". Worth noting, the article also makes numerous, increasingly whiny mentions of the fact that Bissinger asked Foles for an interview to write the article and Foles declined.

Now Foles still has to repeat his success this year to prove that he's the real deal, since many a backup-turned-starter had that one great year and nothing else, but Bissinger's argument has nothing to do with football and reeks of personal resentment. A shame, because Bissinger used to be a serious writer.

About 2 years ago I saw an interview of Bissinger.. He's not the same as he once was, it seems like now he's got a lot of demons rattling around in his head.

BUT that doesn't excuse what's he done here. I have NO use for any reporter who just because someone refused to talk to him he gets PO'ed and then writes a hit piece about that person and tries to stir up some sort of scandal where there isn't one.
