Stuff is irrelevant. Experiences are vital. I'd prefer to raise a kid who is well travelled, has the opportunity to play athletics (competitively if they're good), etc.

Feel free to mock this but to me it's a valuable part of raising a well rounded child who is prepared to succeed. A kid raised on car trips to the grand canyon and Netflix isn't a kid I want.

At the very least I'd like my kids to visit the town in Tuscany where my family is from at an early age. Ideally well beyond that but that's a minimum for me.
