Sure, the English have the car brand. But, the car is named after the cat. And, the cat is native to the Americas. South America, to be precise. So, we have to see how the Spanish say it.
They say "el dzhaguar". The first letter has a bit more "h" in it than the American version, but the last syllable is the same.
In other words, England - it's "jag-war" not "jag-u-are".
On the other hand, you can't say "Fu-rar-ee". You have to say, "Fe-drard-ee" with a slight trill of the tongue on the "Rs".
