Its almost a headache to look at Group G.

So my prediction is Germany will score early then just play relaxed ball to ensure no red cards and no injuries on any of their guys.

If Germany wanted to skunk the US, they probably could, but there is absolutely no reason for them to try and do this for any reason. In fact, they're probably rooting for the US advance rather than Ghana or Portugal. On paper, it would be in their favor anyways. If Germany gets the win, so much the better and more reason to keep the game 1-0 so the US will still (likely) advance. Ghana would have to win the game by 2 goals in order to advance should the US lose by 1 goal. Hell even if Germany loses, they aren't under any real pressure as its highly unlikely Ghana will skunk Portugal and beat the GD, but I don't think they'd want to leave that up to chance. So I see Germany winning by 1-0 or possibly a 1-1 draw if the goal for the US comes late in the game and Germany isn't afraid of them possibly scoring again.

i dunno, apparently the media doesn't care when goals were scored either, because when i google "portugal scored at 95", it just says "portugal scored in the 95th minute" everywhere. anyway, i'm more right, because that was AFTER the 95th minute started, not during the 94th minute. my largest complaint with the entire sport is lack of transparency as to when the game will end. it's not that the clock counts up -- that's stupid but not important. it's that it just keeps going until whenever the f**k the ref says
