I think time of possession was a huge factor.

Denver had, until yesterday, been really good at keeping the ball and launching these really long scoring drives.

Seattle controlled the ball for most of the game, Denver's defense did what they could but when the Offense keeps giving the ball back what can you do?

Denver's defense gave up all of 6 points (2 fg) during the first quarter. Meanwhile, Denver's offense failed to get a single first down until 20 minutes into the first half. That drive also ended on a pick 6. Defense did a pretty good job considering the circumstance, until they just got exhausted cause their offense was hellbent on giving the ball back to Seattle as quickly as possible.

The weather was as close to ideal for Peyton Manning as possible considering the venue.

In other news I was pretty close to seeing an old Broncos fan pummel a young hawks fan who wouldn't stop talking shit on the train.

Hawks are great but our fan base has a long way to go.

On TV is sounded like there were A LOT more Seahawk fans there than there was Bronco fans..

Which was kind of surprising.
