I said it last year, I'm saying it again..

Russel Wilson is the BEST young(2 years or so in the NFL) QB in the league.. Maybe because he's stuck in Seattle he doesn't get the love from the media Griffin or Kaepernick get.. But he is better than both, he is, much MUCH better than Griffin..

Also I watched the Bronco-Giant game.. It was the WORSE officiated game I've seen since the Ref strike.. My God, the Refs were calling so many phantom penalties against the Broncos even Phil Simms, an ex-Giant, and an announcer who never says anything critical about anyone, said a couple of times how bad the penalties calls were.

Sleeper team this year? KC Chiefs... They now got a coach, they got a good QB.. I can see them making some noise in the AFC..

Cowboys already .500. Seems pretty much as I expected. I don't expect them to go better than 8-8 this year, if they're lucky.

The Giants 1st possession of the 2nd half they scored a TD.. On that drive the refs called 4 penalties against the Broncos D.. 3 of those penalties were BS, they were phantom calls.. I KNOW these games aren't fixed, there are no conspiracies involved, etc.. But if I was a betting man, seeing the way the Refs seem to make sure the Giants scored a TD on that drive, I can understand why some gamblers believe the games are fixed.

The mob or GS eh? Well there are rumors Jimmy Hoffa was 'buried' by the Mafia under the old Giants stadium.. Maybe his spirit was there Sunday.

After a large sampling size of two games, it looks like the Broncos will meet the Seahawks in the Superbowl.

Too soon to make predictions on only the second week. As I recall a few years ago the Giants started 0-2 and then won the Superbowl. I dunno about the Chiefs since Andy Reid is a castoff and so is Alex Smith- the real test is in November- whoever gets hot in that month and gets to the playoffs usually wins it all. As far as the Seahawks, Wilson has a good defense backing him up but I think defenses will catch up to these read-option guys pretty soon. As far as the Broncs, Peyton Manning has always been good in the regular season but fizzles in the playoffs.
