you're right that they don't make many games i care about. in fact, they make one: zelda. and you're right that i wouldn't see a bethesda game on wii or something, sure. but they still did win in third party games. no, they didn't win in high end graphics games (of course, other consoles only do better sales on such games, pc wins)

the last controller i really liked was the n64 one. yeah it was weird but it fit my hands nicely. i never liked ps controllers, i never liked the two thumbsticks. xbox was okay (i have a 360, haven't played it in 3 years). i perfer the wii + nunchuck over the xbox, but i'd admit it would be terrible for twitch shooters. but so is the xbox controller; get a mouse you heathen

I'm pretty excited for the new Metro game...the idea of a fps dedicated more to a story than a bland shooter is very attractive to me at the moment. It's the direction I think these games need to go.

I actually kind like the console. Fits in well with the home theater stuff without the exaggerated appearance that screams "games console".

I suppose its because they are trying for the integrated set top box idea.

The conference was pretty meh, however. No games that really popped.

I like it actually. I won't be buying it first obviously, let the impulse buyers get in first. There aren't any major games I want currently, Call of Duty Ghosts isn't really appealing considering I'm a big Ghost Recon Fan. I will probably wait at least a year before buying to see if the price might drop a bit. I really like the TV integration tho, I am staying at some families right now and their dish satellite is annoying trying to find where channels are. Would be easier to simply say go to ESPN and find what I want.

Overall, looks like a great product, I just won't be buying it this Christmas.
