Kane is more talented. Toews is still the foundation of that team.
I started to argue that Kane has peaked stats wise, but then I remembered he's only 25. He'll put up better total points numbers in the next few years as his assists increase (tends to happen with age and experience for pure goalskillers like Kane).
But either way Toews is the more complete player. He contributes to every facet of the game. He's a shutdown defensive player who averages close to a point a game. Hard to find. I think it's fair to say most hockey fans would agree with me on this.
