It's not a waste of time. This is an international syndicate dealing in tens of millions of corrupt dollars. This is an organization that has the worlds most popular sport in it's clutches. These are people who took bribes that are now costing hundreds of workers their lives in Qatar. It's not a waste of time at all. Personally, this is one of the few recent cases I have been DELIGHTED the justice department is pursuing. These guys are international criminals, who enrich themselves at the expense of the worlds beautiful game, it's fans, and the millions of laborers and citizens who will have to live (and even die) in shitty conditions because of this organizations rampant corruption.

And regardless of what you think about it, this is a huge PR coup for the US and the justice system in general. Like I said, you have no idea how happy people around the world are about this and how much good will America earned itself. Money well spent in my opinion.
