i would think "i dont get the problem of always online, who cares"

but then one of the first days i got sim city 5 (which is terrible) my internet was down for like 10 hours. and i thought WHY THE f**k CANNOT I NOT PLAY THIS f**k GAME YOU f**k

but really, in general, i dont care. but if you lose internet and want to play a single player game, you should be able to. it seems to indicate you will. so what's the problem

Kane, I think you can't read or see between the lines. The current Xbox and PS3 require an internet connection for Netflix, ONLINE Gaming, etc. This new console will work the exact same way. You don't have to have an internet connection to use the device for blu-ray, playing music (not Xbox live music) and watching television. You will need it to Skype, play multiplayer and so on and so forth. I mean, again, I don't understand how some of you can't read this and understand it. I sound like a douche but this constant complaining is getting old by alot of people regarding an internet connection.

It's got three f**k kernels built into it so the browser is actually Internet Explorer.

Yep, flash capable. You can access the web on your TV as you watch a cable show or something. Movie even. Whenever you want. Can't find a specific quote anywhere but they were checking out ESPN alongside a sports game during the conference.
