As much as you Americans love a good chance to be braggarts, you are still only fourth or fifth best in the world. Canada, Russia, Finland, Sweden are still way better. That won't change for many years, probably decades. And frankly even that is unknown... you guys gotta compete with basketball and baseball. So probably you'll top out at third best.

I remember playing canook teams in juniors we used to kick the shit out of you buffoons. We beat your team that won canook nationals and we barely won regionals and got thrashed in US nationals lol canook hockey is a fabrication and survives on reputation not talent

As per Dylan striking a nerve, meh. The time when my ego was tied up in my nationality or a sport is long passed. Maybe when I was a teenager. Either way, it was a good game, and no doubt you guys deserved the win. I'd just be careful about making any sort of grand predictions based on it.
