yeah okay, you live in a giant bog and have to factor that in. still makes most sense to have a 0 to 100 scale; if the temperture FEELS like 100 F then it FEELS "very hot". if it FEELS like 137 it FEELS "extremely f**k hot". but it's still better with 100 because you have smaller increments per degree and the scale of o to 100 of very cold to very hot makes sense for temperature of the weather.
as for 32, no it's not the most important number. sure, under it you'll get snow, over you'll get rain, but it doesn't feel that cold, which is all the f**k matters. yeah sure you live in a bizarre world where people "take plants in" when it freezes (wtf) so apparently freaking out about the freezing point is a thing in that swamp of yours but up north in civilization we don't do such nonsense because it actually gets cold up here. also 0 F is when you start sliding on roads, because 0 F is when salt is ineffectual. 30? you don't slide
