Kids all home for 1st time in 3 years. Going to host X-mas eve dinner, folks will do X-mas day.

with my uncle jim -- who just talks about himself for 6 hours -- getting a divorce, i am not sure if he'd show his face around the Galts. and because of that i don't know if another aunt and uncle couple -- the ones that create some delicious stories for me every year (one year he threatened to kill my exwife, for example) -- will be coming. and since my sister, the loud one, won't be there either, i think it's going to be a rather low key event. which is fine, i'll still just get traditionally drunk and end up laughing at the priest during his homily at midnight mass again

Taking a bus to vegas tomorrow morning (flights from LAX were ridiculous - $250 vs $30 for megabus. Gonna spend a couple weeks there with my family. Missed last Christmas with them, so feel obligated to make an appearance this year.
