What like a spectral intelligence from another dimension or something? Doubtful. Perhaps a natural feature such a magnetic field triggering a hallucination is a far as I would accept as far as a natural cause for the phenomena. I find the scientific truth about such phenomena and what it may possibly reveal about our inner workings to be far more interesting than titillating ghost stories.
Not trying to belittle, just my impression of the phenomena. I believe you experienced something very real but I have no idea what it could be.
