although it's very likely Florida will be in the NC it is highly unlikely the industry gods will ever allow another SEC vs SEC NC. Bama/LSU was the lowest rated BCS NC game ever....Oregon/Auburn was the highest. The industry gods will not let the SEC lose them money. The industry gods are praying that ND beats OK on Saturday, then, even if ND loses to USC they can still justify putting them in the NC game....thereby assuring the highest rated NC game evah.
Last years' SEC vs SEC champ game was an experiment, and it failed. Expect that even once the playoff get set up they will arraign the tiers in such a way that the SEC will play the SEC prior to the NC game. There is simply too much money in having different regions play each other.
