Again, and I don't know how many times I have to say this, it's not a simple reflection on Microsoft or Sony. This is an industry wide problem. I don't know how much you guys have watched the gaming industry or to what degree/depth but a lot has changed and continues to change. If I were a betting man I'd say EA wants this more than Microsoft. Same with Ubisoft, Activision, 2K Games, etc.

Which is symptomatic of IP law. The players are just playing the game.
But I think people are overreacting. Microsoft knows their reputation and they know that people do not like the bullshit EA has been pulling or not being able to resell your own games. What's happening is that Microsoft is introducing a new economic system to the industry and people are confused and weary of it because we don't know the details or implementation.
