1) Fined the Patriots for filming signals - if you don't want your signals known to the other team, then don't show them in full view of a few hundred thousand fans, TV cameras, and the other team.
2) Fined the Saints (and suspended coaches) for bonuses for defensive plays - so, it's OK to pay a player more money if he makes a lot of hits during the year, thus making him a more valuable player, but it's not OK to pay for an individual hit? That's like telling a salesman, "It's illegal to give you a bonus for signing a single client, but if you sign 3 clients, I'll give you a pay raise."
Also, in general terms, I'm not a fan of employers firing employees that have yet to be proven guilty, especially if the crime has no impact upon the line of business.
